Spread over six days and with over 160,000 visitors, Automechanika has to be one of the most well attended single sector b2b trade shows in the world, but did it deliver the results that exhibitors were hoping for.
For the Klarius Group, a manufacturing company now offering Europe’s widest range of aftermarket parts, the show has proved to be a huge success.
With over 800 people visiting the stand, introductions were made with significant potential new customers and many meetings took place both on the stand and at the show, keeping Klarius Group staff extremely busy. When asked what product or service generated the most interest from visitors International Business Development Manager Paul Hannah had no hesitation in answering.
“The vast range of OE quality parts that we offer under the Klarius and QH product brands, over 100,000 individual items, was the key thing that was really generating interest for us. The fact that we operate our own manufacturing plants, logistics platform and stock throughout Europe helps, as does our quality guarantee, but, it is the ability of this business to cut costs and improve availability for buying groups and distributors that is driving new business to our door.
“Automechanika is always an important opportunity for us to meet existing international customers too, we also signed some new agreements on the stand. Visitor numbers were consistent with last year and we met an amazing number of prospects form outside of Europe, notably from Africa, South America, USA and Australia, adding to a large Scandinavian contingent from Europe.”
