Since the beginning of July, users of the Autologic PORSCHE dealer-level diagnostic platform from Autologic Diagnostics Ltd, have been rejoicing at news that the much anticipated release of software for Porsche’s latest sports car model, Panamera, is now available.
Following the launch of Panamera into the consumer market at large, over the past two years Autologic’s in-house software engineers have researched and arduously developed the advanced software for the Autologic PORSCHE diagnostic package.
The new Autologic PORSCHE for Panamera software includes Identification (ECU information), Fault Code Reading and Clearing, Live Data, Actuators (Drive links) and Coding. Furthermore the new Autologic PORSCHE software provides select special functions; within the instrument cluster the software covers Reset Maintenance Interval, Set Total Mileage and Calibrate Fuel Level Sensor with the DME module providing an Oil Level Check whilst Check Basic Setting, Loop In and Calibration are offered by the software within the Electronic Parking Brake module. Additional special functions and Flash Programming – in which Autologic technologically leads the aftermarket – will follow in due course.
Having been trialled by select current Autologic PORSCHE users, the new software has been well received and given the seal of approval for general release. This news comes as a welcome addition to the current Autologic PORSCHE software package, particularly for independent Middle East garages for whom the Panamera is a popular model amongst their customers. However all Autologic users within a current support contract can download the new Panamera software as an update from the user area of the Autologic website with immediate effect.
