Town Thorns Summer Fete 2011

Town Thorns Summer Fete 2011

This year’s Summer Fete will take place on Sunday August 7 from 11.30am – 3.15pm at Town Thorns Care Centre, Easenhall.

The event is organised in support of Town Thorns which is owned and run by BEN, the UK’s automotive and related industries’ charity. BEN provides care and support to almost 15,000 people every year.  BEN also operates four care centres and a day centre around the country, offering a full spectrum of care for younger and elderly people.

Helen Owen, Matron at Town Thorns said, “The stunning grounds at Town Thorns provide the perfect backdrop for this quintessential English Summer fete. On the day there will be something for everyone; vintage and classic vehicle displays with a chance to ride in ‘special’ cars, a huge range of stalls from crafts to an art exhibition, incredible prizes to be won on the tombola, a bouncy castle for the children plus many more games, a sizzling barbeque and cream teas. It’s a wonderful way to spend your family day out, so it would be great to see as many people as possible.”

The fete will take place at Town Thorns, Easenhall, Nr. Rugby, Warwickshire, CV23 0JE from 11.30am. The phone number for the centre is 01788 833311.
