Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes is bolstering its UK and Northern Ireland sales and technical expertise with two new appointments effective from this month.
The roles will ensure customers benefit from unrivalled business support, industry knowledge and training for the paint manufacturer’s leading paint systems, including the revolutionary rapid air-dry HP Process™, which enables repairers to reduce fuel bills and increase productivity significantly.
Ken Rust, pictured, joins the company as Southern Sales Manager, bringing with him over 20 years of technical sales capability and business development experience acquired through regional managerial and demonstrator roles at Pro-Spray Automotive Finishes, Nexa Autocolor, PPG Industries and Max Meyer.
Previously a former car sprayer himself for 22 years, Ken has a deep understanding of the issues facing repairers and will help bodyshops grow their businesses profitably through the application of Sherwin-Williams’ market-leading quick drying primers and basecoats.
To provide dedicated support to body repairers in the effective use of its product range, David Gravenor will assume responsibility for Specialist Technical Training, working closely with distribution’s technical teams.
A highly experienced member of the Sherwin-Williams’ team, with 10 years service with the company, David will ensure that bodyshops are maximising the time-saving and performance benefits of the HP Process™ paint technology to drive up their productivity and make major cost reductions.
