New additions to Euro Car Parts team

Mark Bain & Sukhpal Singh AhluwaliaEuro Car Parts appoints senior manager to oversee expansion in Edinburgh and Glasgow and the opening of new superstores at Aberdeen, Kilmarnock and Perth and Stirling.

Euro Car Parts, the company famous for supplying any part for any car, has underlined its commitment to Scotland with the appointment of regional business expert Mark Bain as Area Manager.

Born and bred in Edinburgh, Mr Bain joins Euro Car Parts from tool hire giant HSS, where he headed up Scotland. Prior to that he was part of the team that launched, the UK’s biggest buyer of used cars from the public, and spent eight years with Phones4u, where he oversaw the opening of their first stores in Scotland.

Euro Car Parts’ Founder and Managing Director, Sukhpal Singh Ahluwalia, commented: “Mark’s CV speaks for itself. He has been influential in the success of several big name companies and has consistently delivered record-breaking profits. His local knowledge and passion for Scottish business makes him the ideal man to lead our development North of the Border. Mark will play a key role in our future success.”

Bain added: “2012 is going to be a landmark year for Euro Car Parts in Scotland with the opening of at least four new branches.I love being part of a winning team and the way Euro Car Parts is growing is just fantastic. By providing quality parts at unbeatable prices in hours rather than days it has really shaken up the market in England. As we open our second branch in Glasgow – at Bellshill – and brand new stores in Aberdeen, Kilmarnock and Perth & Stirling, we will deliver a faster service to thousands more independent garages.

“The motor parts industry is fast paced and great fun but the competition had better up their game because I have been incredibly impressed by just how ‘upforit’ people are here. Challenges don’t come harder than teaching my two children to enjoy a trip to Easter Road – compared to that turning Euro Car Parts into the biggest aftermarket supplier in Scotland will be a breeze.”

Euro Car Parts currently have more than 200 vacancies throughout Scotland
