Mirka UK selects Ash to polish its communications

Mirka logoGlobal abrasives solutions manufacturer, Mirka UK, has chosen Ash Communications to handle its PR in the UK from March 2013, marking the company’s 70th anniversary manufacturing innovative abrasive technologies designed to deliver vital time-saving and efficiency benefits to customers, and help them improve their profitability.

The specialist manufacturer has tasked the PR consultancy with raising its profile and increasing awareness of its high quality sanding and polishing tools across the automotive (ART), industrial (woodworking and furniture) and professional decorating sectors.

Part of the family-owned Finnish company, KWH Group, Mirka UK was the first manufacturer to introduce virtually dust-free sanding with its revolutionary Abralon® and Abranet® patented products. A key objective for Ash is to address the critical H& Safety aspects associated with working environments where dust is an issue as well as communicate the benefits of the company’s tools in preventing personal injuries such as hand arm vibration or ‘white knuckle’ syndrome (HAVS).
