Comline appoints industry expert as Marketing & Communications Manager

Comline Auto Parts, the leading supplier of replacement parts for European, Japanese, and Korean passenger cars and light vans, has announced today that Simon Hutchinson has joined the Luton based business as Marketing and Communications Manager.

Simon, 39, comes with a wealth of aftermarket and wider industry knowledge and experience having spent nearly 20 years with Automotive Distributors Ltd (ADL). During his career with ADL, he spent six years as Sales Director, with responsibility for over £35million of business.

When asked what attracted him to the role, Simon commented: “Comline is an exciting company. With some clever strategic decisions, the business has grown from small beginnings to become a major player in the European aftermarket. Looking to continue to grow its business with more in-depth brand awarenessacross both existing and new markets, the business is also focused on further enhancing its product offering.”

Comline’s Sales and Marketing Director, Malcolm Rosher, added: “Our key objective is to further enhance the brand with the aim of increasing sales; with Simon’s industry experience I’m confident he is the man to drive the marketing of the business forward.

“Comline recently launched a steering and suspension programme to complement our successful core ranges of filters and braking, and one of Simon’s first jobs will be to use his experience to help successfully launch this product into the wider European aftermarket.”

Simon is married with two young children and outside of work is a keen cricketer.
