With Sebastian Vettel’s fourth World Champion triumph, Sonax adds another chapter to its success story as supplier to Formula 1. It is the third season already, that the enterprise accompanied Sebastian Vettel’s successful team Infiniti Red Bull Racing as “Official Supplier”. And in February, SONAX and the Championship Team agreed to partner for another two years.rsz_range_sonax_-

The next two years will see the vehicles of the Formula One racing team cleaned and maintained by the market-leading expertise of SONAX, ensuring that for each race the cars will be looking their best as they look to maintain their unbeatable hold on the world’s most prestigious racing title.

Saxon, the leading distribution and brand Management Company in the UK, exclusively distributes SONAX’s range across the UK and its deep gloss shampoo, polishing wax, paint renovator, wheel cleaner, glass cleaner, interior cleaner, cockpit shine and cleaner will be a favourite on the shelves in Red Bull’s garages.

After four years in the lead, Infiniti Red Bull Racing is still one of the most popular F1 teams among fans. However, just as all competitors, the team has to rise to new challenges in 2014. This includes the new technical regulations on propulsion and a modified driver pairing. Instead of Mark Webber, Red Bull Junior Daniel Ricciardo will join Sebastian Vettel in the chase for points.

Andrew Dixon, chief executive at Saxon, the exclusive distributor of SONAX in the UK, said: “The extension of the relationship between SONAX and the Red Bull F1 Racing team is superb news. Not only does this mean that the team’s cars will be in prime condition for each race, but it is also great news for retailers and consumers alike.  There are not many brands that can claim such a world-leading relationship; something that will aid retailers in boosting profits, and also providing consumers with peace of mind when cleaning and valeting their own cars at home.”

The grass roots promotional programme which Snap-on Tools has recently embarked upon in support of BEN has taken a major step forward with the support from McLaren Formula 1 driver Jenson Button.

At a recent presentation at the McLaren Technology Centre in Woking, Surrey, Snap-on Tools, UK brand leader in tools, tool storage and workshop equipment for the automotive industry, donated to BEN one of its limited edition McLaren Sport tool box stacks featuring stunning graphics of the Vodafone Mercedes McLaren Formula 1 car.

This one is very special, however, as it has been personally signed by Jenson himself. BEN is now running its own competition whereby one technician will win this outstanding prize which will be a collectors’ item.

David Main, Chief Executive of BEN, received this extremely special tool box from Chris Eaton, Basingstoke Branch Manager of Snap-on Tools. Snap-on Tools has a long standing relationship with McLaren, supplying tools to the Formula 1 team.
